Restful relaxation in a quiet sunlit country setting on the south end of Salt Spring Island
Our self-contained two bedroom sunlit cottage retreat, is situated on a five acre working farm in the south end of Salt Spring Island, BC. Being deep in the south end has provided us with the rural tranquility rarely found anywhere in the world, yet all the amenities you may need are only a short distance away.
Salt Spring Island is the largest of the Southern Gulf Islands. We are one km from Ruckle Provincial Park and its hundreds of acres of hiking trails, quiet bays for kayaking or picnicking on mossy rock outcroppings overlooking the ocean. Ten minutes to swimming lakes, twenty minutes to Ganges, and twelve minutes to the Village of Fulford. A world of exploring awaits you. Talk to your hosts, Geri and Gordy Alton for more information on the local trails and attractions.
At Bramblewood Cottage, you are surrounded by outstanding beauty, peace, and quiet. Yet you can choose to either take advantage of the many available activities, or simply sit back and absorb the natural tranquility. The large deck is perfect for, kicking back and enjoying your morning coffee, sun worshiping during the day, or celebrate at the end of the day by listening to the sounds of nature around you. Don’t be surprised if the quail or deer stop by to see what you are up to. They like to visit.
