The Farm

Bramblewood cucumbersBramblewood Farm supplies naturally grown produce and eggs to local markets, restaurants and stores. We grow greenhouse Long English cucumbers , heritage varieties of tomatoes, sweet bell peppers as well as other vegetables and fruit in the outside garden. We have many fruit trees, consisting of heritage varieties of apples, plum, pear and cherry. The blueberries we grow are a tasty treat starting in mid July.

There are five horses and twenty-five chickens on the farm. Our horses are a mix of breeds, Canadian/Quarter horse, Percheron/Morgan, Warmblood cross, and a Welsh Pony mare who has recently had a foal.

Bramblewood horsesGeri is an Equine Canada and CANTRA Certified English Riding Instructor. Her background is from Canadian Pony Club and Three Day Eventing with many years of teaching experience. Lessons on lesson horses are available with prearrangement.
